England (UK) + Pokémon = The Galar Region

All you ideas are, in my opinion, highly interesting and I'd like to add some of my thoughts/ideas. Firstly, the Scandinavia region holds great dlc potential since there can be a dlc with an Iceland-inspired region and another dlc with a Greenland-inspired region which would be very sick dlc if you know those islands (I can already picture riding on sleighs towed by husky pokémon, or catching some cool water-fire type mon or ice-fire type mon while walking around the Icelandic geysers and thermal baths). Secondly, I think it would be great if one day they chose an Eastern/Central Eastern European setting for one of their new regions (e.g. Russia, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, the Caucasus, the Baltics, etc.) since that area is full of interesting cultures and places to borrow ideas from as well as a very interesting and complex history from which to draw inspiration. Eastern and Central Eastern Europe have an interesting fauna too, since animals such as the European bison and Beluga Sturgeon are native to there. Thirdly, Brazil would be very interesting too, it has an interesting georgaphy too with jungles, praries and mountains. It is incredibly rich in biodiversity with endless options for new pokémons and it is also a great melting pot of cultures, with various native and non native communities living there all with their own cultures which are source for lots of inspiration. Also, the huge Amazon river could be a greag opportunity to introduce a river dolphin pokémon to ride on while traversing the river to maybe reach some mysterious locations deep within the jungle.

1 major complaint: outfits are too lame for an evil team. I can see how it fits for the theme, but a hard asf outfit is a requirement for an evil team (team star doesnt count)

Sound Type can work: Hyper Voice and Boom Burst can stay normal but Sound type substitutes that are a little weaker can be made. Sound is loud noises, vibration, dancing, rhythm, music, celebrations, screaming, whispers, subsonic, frequencies - so get creative and make some moves. And other media like Ben10 and Naruto. Super Effective: Ghost, Psychic, Fairy, Psychic, Water Resisted By: Grass, Ground, Dark, Ice Resists: Fairy, Water, Fight, Flying Weakness: Dragon, Electric, Ghost, Bug

I would love to see you do a video on making The Legend of Zelda series a Pokémon region. Those games are my favorite video game series, so it will be amazing to see someone else make a region based on that. However, a content creator by the name of Bilsu Art is already making a region based on the Zelda series, but I bet you can still make some unique ideas for it to make it different from his.

I've never cared for the idea of Sound Type. To me it's more of a "style" of attack that can be infused with type energy. I've always been partial to the idea of if we are gonna get a new type, call it Mutation Type. In theory it be the ultimate type chart balancing type, as it can be changed gen to gen if need be as the nature of Mutation is mutating aka changing.

Remaster of the old before going into new sound awesome. And on the note of a smaller Australia region, Tasmania would be a great starting location (especially with the new open world Pokemon format) before going into the bigger main continent, but also I always thought it be fun to go back to your starting location to access victory road and the E4 with your PC mom being the secret champion.

I think Link’s starter representing Courage would be a Wolf~like Pokémon. With maybe the Four elemental dragons (light, wind, water and fire) or the three Great Fairies being the lesser legendaries. Regardless the main legendaries could also be based on the tri force. Repurposing the light dragon for wisdom, a dark dragon for Power, maybe a nature dragon for courage? Or have the Light Dragon, Boar, and Wolf be the main legendaries

I'm currently working on my own Pokemon region concept. However it's in the form of a graphic novel and I'm crossing over that franchise with Final Fantasy. Although it's more in line with Pokemon Colosseum and XD in which it's a whole new region, but it's with Pokemon fans are familiar with. I also have a separate campaign in the pipeline that crosses Pokemon over with Kingdom Hearts. (Yes, I am dead serious about that one!)

You mean actually expanding upon Kanto's characters, areas and lore instead of just reusing the same goddamn story over and over again. Well YES PLEASE.

I liked the idea of an Iceland Based Region along with The Scandinavian region connected it would work like the Connection between Kanto and Johto regions in the first two Generations of Pokemon games.

Whenever we get gen 10, I really hope they go all out on that game. I will be disappointed if they handle it the same way they did the Switch games. I love Sword and Shield, and Scarlet and Violet, but there still should’ve been more. For gen 10, I want Battle Revolution levels of detailed Pokemon animations and move animations, Pokemon Sword/Shield/LA type human character models, and LGPE styles graphics, and BW/Teal Mask levels of writing. I’m not expecting every Pokemon game to be like this, but generation 10 needs to be the exception because of how important 10 generations is for Pokemon.

I think u should expand on this just a lil bit I’d love to see you actually name out what the Pokémon type combos would be and some abilities and possible get a visual on the actual changes it’d make to the actual Pokémon world as in what’s gone and what’s be added because of the type

It's really nice to see this. I'm currently going through a Project making a pokemon region for a future Pen and Paper game (Not sure on a system, dnd or pokerole being contenders) and was looking at your older videos for inspiration and to make small references to them. Back when you were doing all those videos, and when shortly later Lockstain started the Lokemon thing, I got really into it. I'm going back and working on that old prokject for this future thing, and It's gonna be fun.

I actually went through all of your old regions and compiled a document of all the new Pokémon you’d created and tried my hand at coding some of them and they turned out quite well! I’d love to see the Iceland region and an update version of the Greek and Australian regions

Your What If videos were what got me interested in fan-made stuff in the first place. I subscribed because of those videos and have been deeply missing them. A few years ago, I started to make my own version of your western US region since it wasn’t very detailed. Now, after a LOT of research and planning, I’m starting to upload it as a book on Wattpad. And I attribute most of the inspiration straight to you, Mr. Buddy. Thanks so much!

Is there a chance any of these would be a place with alot of dark skinned POC and not just Scandinavia or Greece? I don't mind the white prominent nations with the bad guys being people in armor but that seems to be alot of your region ideas, and I think going for Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Jamaica etc would be far more interesting and compelling! Love to see those!

Very fascinating and it would be nice to see some of them be made when time is available. Iceland might be a good start since you already got some ideas formed anyhow around the vikings.

I like idea of taking real world places and seeing what could be used to inspire a region in a Pokémon game. I don't like seeing character designs based on those inspirations; I fear they may contaminate expectations or the creative process of Game Freak.

Out of all of the what if pokemon regions That you listed in your video, I think and believe that Is expanding more on The greek pokemon region Would be really cool. Another cool option would be a more full-fledged video on Your region based on the western united states Where the evil team is obsessed with Fossil pokemon.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing more What if Pokemon regions. I wouldn't mind seeing what you could do with a region based on the Low Countries (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg), especially since a lot of the popular regions have already been overdone at this point (India, China, Italy, South America, Canada, US states). Mexico, Iceland and Egypte got already covered extensively as well by other youtubers.

Okay, two things I want to say: 1) About the Scandinavian Region idea: can't you just turn that idea into an original, but also, a sequel Buddymon game instead? 😕 And 2) About the Legend of Zelda/Pokémon idea: I think a certain PokéTuber named "Bilsu Art" is already doing a crossover like that? 🤔

How about a region based on the whole state of Texas? There may be a bunch of new Pokémon along with regional variants of familiar ones, like Duskull, representing every aspect of Texas, like Fiesta, Dia de los Muertos, the cowboys, and the Native Americans. In other words, there's NOT JUST ONE but a bunch of variants of Duskull.

Where's The Egyptian Region? It also deserves an special mention as well... i'm still waiting for it ever since it was first teased sometime ago..
